Thrip
A long, thin insect that may be black, brown, and, at times, even green. Thrips have very small wings that enable them to jump; however, they are incapable of gripping and attaching themselves well to the vegetable. Thrips tend to be dislodged from produce upon contact with a strong stream of water.
