Whitefly

A tiny, snow-white insect pest that  resembles a moth. Both adult and nymph stages feed by sucking plant juices. Whiteflies are not effectively dislodged from the vegetable’s surface by water; only a soapy solution together with a strong stream of water effectively dislodges whiteflies from the surface of the produce.

» They can be found typically in: basil, Green kale, mint, rosemary and thyme. Although there are other types of insects, we will discuss only those listed above.
