Leaf Miner Trail

Leaf Miner Trail

A less commonly found insect that can pierce the outside of the vegetable and eat its way through the flesh of the vegetable, creating a clear and easily discernible tunnel-like trail (often speckled with black dots) on the vegetable’s surface. In the event that leaf miners are found, that leaf or section of the produce should be discarded.
