METHOD IV: Leaf Miner Trail Inspection
» Prior to washing, while the leaves are dry, inspect the leaves for leaf miner trails. This is done by inspecting both sides of each leaf individually. Leaf miners leave a clear, easily discernible trail. Discard any produce item that is found to have a leaf miner trail.
